Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) is an Indian fertilizer company incorporated in 2015 to establish and operate a natural-gas-based ammonia and urea complex at Ramagundam, Telangana. The joint venture’s promoters include National Fertilizers Limited, Engineers India Limited and Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited, with additional equity participation from the Government of Telangana, GAIL (India) Limited and the HTAS Consortium. RFCL began commercial operations at its Ramagundam unit in March 2021.
Its products include neem-coated prilled urea, a nitrogen fertilizer containing 46% nitrogen, and ammonia, which is an essential input for nitrogen fertilizers. The company’s plant has a design capacity of 2,200 metric tonnes of ammonia and 3,850 metric tonnes of urea per day. RFCL reports production and distribution of urea to support agricultural needs across India.
