RGZO

Renngruppe Zürcher Oberland (RGZO) is a ski club serving children and young people in the Zürcher Oberland, the Zürichsee region and surrounding areas. It promotes alpine ski racing through year-round training, welcoming beginners from age five and supporting developing athletes as they progress from recreational sport towards regional performance centres. The club combines sporting ambition with a family-friendly atmosphere, social connection and a focus on fair play.

Its programme spans winter and summer. Winter activities include weekly snow training in Hoch-Ybrig, autumn glacier camps and floodlit sessions for U14 and U16 racers. Summer options include inline slalom in Atzmännig, indoor fitness training in Dürnten and multi-sport weekends. Flockenflitzer sessions offer children aged five to eight a playful introduction to skiing without competitive pressure. The club also organises guided ski tours with avalanche awareness and transceiver training.

Experienced J&S leaders and coaches deliver the activities. Prospective members can arrange a trial session, explore membership categories and register online.
