RH-4 is a blockchain hardware project bringing a real, gate-level processor to Robinhood Chain. Rather than simulate a processor, its smart contract evaluates 2,368 NAND gates and updates 171 flip-flops with each on-chain clock cycle. Each chip also includes 256 bytes of RAM, and each tick carries a byte supplied by the person who pays for it. The processor is synthesized from Verilog, with its operation and state represented directly on-chain.

The project offers an interactive browser workbench where users can inspect the machine, supply input, and write RH-8 assembly programs. Its launchpad lets users mint a processor as an NFT with a chosen name, ticker, optional logo, program, and market settings. Each chip’s token trades through a bonding curve before moving to a locked liquidity pool at graduation. Cycle payments fund ongoing computation and token emissions, so a chip continues running only when someone pays to advance it. RH-4 combines blockchain-based processor execution, programmable chips, live visualizations, and a token launch system in one project.
