RHASA

The Ranch Horse Association of South Australia Inc (RHASA) is an RHAA-approved club bringing together people who enjoy ranch horses and the development of ranch-style horsemanship. Its mission is to share knowledge and experience, celebrate the ranch horse lifestyle, and promote high standards of riding in a friendly, welcoming community for both experienced and beginning riders.

RHASA organises monthly shows from August, with current dates listed through its events information. Competitions include pattern classes such as Ranch Riding, Ranch Reining, Ranch Pleasure and Ranch Trail, as well as Ranch on the Rail and Ranch Conformation. These classes assess qualities including movement, manners, versatility and suitability for ranch work. Although ranch disciplines can also involve cattle work, the club states that it is not running cow classes at this stage.

Members can enter events and receive a regular newsletter featuring community stories and insights. RHASA also offers educational Come and Try events, scheduled according to member demand, and shares show patterns, draws, programs and other resources.
