Rheinkirmes

Rheinkirmes is a large summer funfair held on Düsseldorf’s Oberkasseler Rheinwiesen. The 2026 event is scheduled for July 17–26, with attractions, food and drink, and services for visitors spread across a 165,000-square-metre site. Its rides range from major attractions such as the Alpina Bahn, Bellevue Ferris wheel and Wilde Maus XXL to family-friendly carousels, including Breakdance and Shake ’n’ Roll.

Visitors can also enjoy high-rise rides, with a 55-metre Ferris wheel offering views across the fairground and the Hangover Tower providing a more intense experience. Food options include Belgian-style fries, cheese specialities, fish, currywurst and grilled dishes, alongside beer gardens, refreshment stands and festival tents. The event website also provides practical visitor information, including opening times, a site map, transport links, accommodation guidance and details about safety services.
