Rheinland-Alpakas

Rheinland-Alpakas offers respectful, small-group encounters with alpacas and llamas, inviting visitors to experience the animals’ calm, curious nature at close range. Activities take place throughout the year, subject to weather, and are not scheduled every day in order to support animal welfare. Groups are limited to a maximum of 11 people.

The experience program includes pasture visits, quiet time with the herd, alpaca and llama walks, private visits and walks, team events, children’s birthday celebrations, and support for therapy-related activities. The farm also offers introductory advice and help for animal keepers, as well as arrangements for photo shoots and filming. Visitors can learn about the herd, animal welfare, and how to approach the animals with care.

Rheinland-Alpakas is recognized as both a regional contact point in North Rhine-Westphalia and a reference farm for New World camelids. It is also a certified Begegnungshof within the Bündnis Mensch & Tier network, meeting quality standards that emphasize animal needs, appropriate husbandry, and respectful human-animal relationships.
