WSV Rheintreue Düsseldorf e.V. is a paddling and canoeing club in Düsseldorf, welcoming people of all ages, from beginners and recreational enthusiasts to aspiring elite athletes. Its canoe sprint programme supports individual development, with training ranging from introductory sessions to high-performance competition at international level. The club also offers touring paddling for those who enjoy exploring the Düsseldorf harbour and rivers, whether on a short after-work outing, a day trip or a multi-day adventure.
Children and young people can take part in paddling and sporting activities, meet others and experience friendly competition. The club lists regular youth training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, with prospective participants asked to be able to swim and bring a change of clothes. Beyond sport, members and visitors can relax aboard the club ship Rheintreue, which offers a terrace and views of the Rhine. The ship is also home to the Canoo restaurant, and its upper deck provides a place to enjoy sunsets when conditions allow.
