Rhino Poetry, based in Evanston, IL, is a non-profit literary organization that is dedicated to promoting and celebrating poetry. Their flagship publication, RHINO Poetry, is an annual high-quality print journal that showcases well-crafted, diverse poetry, flash fiction, and translations. While they have a strong commitment to their print journal, they also publish all poems in their online archive approximately one year after the print release.

Rhino Poetry occupies a unique space between academia and the emerging poetry scene, seeking to showcase creative work that tells stories, provokes thought, and pushes the boundaries in form and feeling. They welcome both traditional and experimental work from emerging and established writers across the United States and around the world. In addition to their print journal, Rhino Poetry fosters a vibrant community of writers through online and local live events, the RHINO Reviews online series, cash prizes awarded to poets each year, and their active presence on social media platforms.

They are proud to contribute to the literary community in Illinois through volunteering and participating in literary events and festivals. Supported by various organizations including the Illinois Arts Council and The Poetry Foundation, Rhino Poetry continues to be a significant force in the world of poetry, providing a platform for writers to showcase their passion, originality, and artistic conviction
