Comité de Tennis de Table

The Comité du Rhône-Métropole de Lyon de Tennis de Table is a nonprofit association founded in 1966 and affiliated with the French Table Tennis Federation. It supports and develops table tennis across the Rhône department and the Lyon metropolitan area, with a central role in organizing local competitions and connecting clubs, players, officials, and volunteers.

Its sporting program includes team championships, youth competitions, veteran finals, ranking events, women’s fixtures, the Coupe Rhône-Lyon, and the Critérium Fédéral. The committee also publishes competition calendars, regulations, results, club news, and a directory of local clubs. Beyond events, it provides practical resources for club leaders, including administrative and financial guidance, affiliation support, and digital tools such as SPID and GIRPE. Development initiatives cover school table tennis, health-focused ping, women’s participation, grants, and carpooling. The organization offers coach and referee training, stages for players and coaches, and support to clubs seeking trainers or officials. Through news, events, and partnerships, the committee helps strengthen participation and the wider table tennis community in its region.
