RHT Africa

RHT Africa is a mobility solutions provider focused on helping cities across Africa build smarter, greener and more efficient public transport systems. The company works to improve connectivity, reduce urban congestion and enhance everyday travel by tailoring projects to local infrastructure, commuter needs and regulatory conditions. Sustainability is central to its approach, including support for electric buses and other lower-emission transport initiatives.

Its services cover public transport network design, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, electric bus solutions and fleet performance management. Electric bus projects can include vehicle selection, charging infrastructure, maintenance and related support. RHT Africa also helps plan and implement transport operations, including route planning, operational control systems and fleet management.

The company follows a five-step process: discovery and stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and design, project implementation, ongoing support and maintenance, and collaboration with local partners. Its continuing services include maintenance, spare parts and local team training. Based in Mauritius, RHT Africa works with original equipment manufacturers, supply-chain partners and other stakeholders to deliver transport solutions suited to the needs of African cities.
