RIA VANDERVIS

Ria Vandervis is a New Zealand marriage celebrant, master of ceremonies and actress, offering wedding services on Waiheke Island, in Auckland and Queenstown, and throughout New Zealand. With more than 12 years of celebrant experience and a background in film and television acting, Ria helps couples create ceremonies that feel joyful, authentic and personal. She works collaboratively with each couple to shape and deliver a memorable occasion, whether they are planning an elopement, micro-wedding, vow renewal or larger celebration.

Her services include ceremony planning, preparation, rehearsal and delivery, as well as coordination with other vendors to help the day run smoothly. Ria guides couples through ceremony choices and vows, and manages practical details such as cues, sound and the flow of the ceremony. Couples can also book her as an MC, with support for the evening’s schedule and events. Trained at the NZ Celebrant School, Ria brings professional performance experience to her work, helping her confidently lead ceremonies with warmth, care and humour.
