About Richard Harpum
Richard Harpum Fine Art Paintings presents the work of Richard Harpum, a realist artist based in Tickhill, near Doncaster, Yorkshire, England. His paintings draw on places and scenes encountered in travels around the world, from British landscapes and landmarks to locations across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australasia. The collection includes landscapes and seascapes, city views, portraits, still-life works and floral paintings.
Subjects range from Windsor Castle, the Tower of London and Cornwall’s coast to Mont Saint-Michel, Venice, Prague, Petra, the Grand Canyon and Uluru. The site offers original artworks and limited-edition and open-edition prints, as well as cards and framed presentation examples. It also features jigsaw puzzles, with many of Harpum’s paintings used for puzzles, and provides videos and presentations about his work.
Visitors can explore information about the artist, his statement, awards, exhibitions, publications and approach to the Golden Ratio. Harpum’s detailed scenes aim to evoke the character of their settings and, as he notes, may recall enjoyable journeys for viewers
