Ricochets

Ricochets is an educational program focused on water, created through the collective work of people and organizations involved in nature and environmental education. Developed over nearly 30 years, it is designed for anyone who wants to help children, young people, or adults explore water and its importance. The program combines project-based learning with imaginative approaches, encouraging participants to discover water through many perspectives, including biology, chemistry, ecology, economics, geography, art, literature, poetry, and leisure.

Ricochets provides updated educational activity sheets, with new themes, participatory methods, activities, and practical resources to support facilitators. It also offers information about training sessions for learning to use the program and related water-education tools. A collaborative network of organizations contributes resources, expertise, and ongoing innovation to the shared educational space. The Ricochets initiative is coordinated by FRENE, the French network for nature and environmental education. Through this program, Ricochets supports accessible, engaging learning about water and its place in ecological transitions.
