Riddarhuset, or the House of Nobility, is a historic institution in Stockholm’s Old Town and a source of knowledge about Sweden’s past. Its 17th-century palace and collections preserve and present the country’s noble heritage. Today, 656 noble families are associated with Riddarhuset, representing around 28,000 people.

The institution welcomes visitors to explore the palace through guided visits and digital visitor resources, and hosts public lectures, concerts, exhibitions and symposia. Researchers and the public can access genealogical and heraldic material through Minerva, its extensive database, and a digital cultural archive of talks, films, podcasts and publications. Riddarhuset also provides information and services for family members, including genealogy resources, member updates, meetings, scholarships and grants.

Its web shop offers books, the Adelskalender and subscriptions to Arte et Marte. The palace is also available for events, including weddings and photography. Riddarhuset supports its work and the upkeep of the palace through its own resources and invites contributions to the Palatsfonden for future renovations and improvements
