Riddells Creek Trail Riders

Riddells Creek Trail Horse Riding Club is a Victoria-based community for horse owners who enjoy exploring the outdoors on organized trail rides. Affiliated with the Australian Trail Horse Riding Association (ATHRA), the club offers members a social and supportive setting, with rides guided by informed ride leaders, first aid officers and trained trail bosses. Members are covered by insurance through the club’s arrangements.

Activities include day rides, generally held on the third Sunday of each month, and camp weekends, usually scheduled over public holiday long weekends. Day rides typically take place within an hour’s drive of Riddells Creek, while camp rides can visit locations anywhere in Victoria. Members receive an annual calendar of scheduled rides.

The club is for owners riding their own horses; hire horses are not available. Riders and horses should be confident walking, trotting and cantering. Riders aged 8 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The club welcomes inquiries from prospective members seeking further information.
