Ridderweide Tennis & Padel is a sports club in Tiel, established in 1960, where members can enjoy tennis and padel in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The club promotes sporting enjoyment and organizes activities throughout the year for people of different ages and skill levels. Its facilities currently include four tennis courts and four padel courts, with court reservations available through the club.
A project announced for late 2026 will replace one tennis court with two padel courts, creating a planned total of three tennis courts and six padel courts for the 2027 season. The club offers opportunities to take part in training, competitions, tournaments and social events, and welcomes young players as well as adults. Prospective members can enquire about joining or try a tennis or padel lesson; a waiting list currently applies for new padel members.
The clubhouse bar is open during competitions, tournaments and busy evenings and weekends, offering a place to gather for refreshments after playing. Ridderweide is entirely smoke-free
