ride-index.de

Ride-Index. de is a reference database dedicated to fairground rides, documenting attractions from the past and present alongside their histories and ride tokens. The site organizes its records into extensive categories, including roller coasters, ghost trains, funhouses, simulators, observation rides, Ferris wheels, water rides, bumper cars, and other travelling attractions.

It also covers children’s rides, from carousels and miniature wheels to trains, pony rides, and ship swings. Listings distinguish between rides currently travelling, attractions no longer on the fairground circuit, and children’s rides in Germany and abroad. Ride-Index.

de regularly adds new entries and updates existing records, sharing recent additions and database changes with visitors. The project invites readers to contribute historical information and photographs to improve its chronologies and records. It also provides contact information, privacy and cookie details, and links to partner websites and businesses associated with fairgrounds and ride tokens.

The site is intended as an informative resource for enthusiasts exploring the development, variety, and history of fairground attractions, rather than as a service for arranging bookings or contacting individual showpeople
