Ride A Stride is an equestrian training and coaching business led by Ian Baese, a USDF Silver Medalist. The business helps riders and horses build confident, harmonious partnerships through clear communication, sound foundations, and training informed by biomechanics and equine psychology. Lessons and training are available to riders of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to experienced riders preparing for shows across a range of disciplines.
Services include horse boarding, clinics, young-horse starting, trail-riding preparation, finishing, problem-solving, tune-ups, showing support, and stallion management, including collections and handling. Ride A Stride also offers sale horses and training on consignment, with support to match horses with suitable homes. Limited stalls are available for full- or part-time training, and lesson spaces are limited. An on-site certified saddle fitter is also available.
Rider testimonials describe a welcoming barn community and well-maintained facilities. Clients value Ian’s attentive care, communication, and horse-first approach, as well as his help developing both equine skills and rider confidence.
