Ride For The Ribbon is a nonprofit organization and community event supporting breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families across Eastern North Carolina. Since 2007, riders and neighbors have come together to raise awareness, celebrate those affected by breast cancer, and provide locally focused support. Funds raised help enable screenings and early detection, treatment assistance, and patient support services, including resources for people facing financial and practical challenges.

The event welcomes riders, passengers, volunteers, and supporters, offering ways to participate through registration, donations, sponsorships, and community involvement. Its annual ride features stops in Kinston, Greenville, and Washington, followed by lunch and entertainment. The 2026 event is scheduled for October 10 in Greenville, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. and the ride departing at 10 a.m. Ride For The Ribbon also shares event updates, answers participant questions, and showcases community stories and sponsors. Guided by the spirit of “Ride. Rally. Raise Hope,” the organization brings people together to honor, celebrate, and remember while making a direct difference for local breast cancer communities.
