Riding-High

Riding-High Paragliding, operated by Tobias Weller, offers tandem paragliding experiences in the mountains south of Munich. Its main flying area is Brauneck in Lenggries, with flights sometimes moved to Wallberg near Lake Tegernsee when weather conditions require. Passengers can choose from three experiences: the Genussflug, a classic introductory flight; the longer Thermikflug; and the Freestyleflug, an adrenaline-focused option. Tickets start at €180, €220, and €200 respectively.

Flights are led by experienced, trained pilots and take place only in suitable weather. Equipment is approved, regularly inspected, and kept up to date. No previous flying experience is needed, and the company provides a briefing and required helmet. Passengers should be physically and mentally fit, weigh between 35 and 100 kilograms, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy ankle-high shoes. The full experience takes at least 90 minutes, including the cable-car ride to the launch area, flight, and landing.
