Riedmann Family

The Riedmann Family website is a family-run resource dedicated to the history and descendants of Georg and Magdalena Riedmann, whose family roots trace back to Stetten, Germany, and whose descendants settled in Omaha, Nebraska. It welcomes relatives and anyone interested in family history, genealogy, or Omaha. The site brings together family trees, historical accounts, stories about ancestors and their arrival in the United States, and memorials honoring family members who have passed away.

It also documents the lives and descendants of Al and Frances Riedmann and other branches of the family, including relatives who may have different surnames. Visitors can explore information about the Riedmann coat of arms, browse an extensive family cookbook organized into categories such as breads, soups, main courses, desserts, and holiday recipes, and revisit archived pages and photographs from reunions held over several decades. Additional resources include an introduction to the family, information about Omaha, and contact details for reaching the site’s author
