About Koblenz-Touristik GmbH
Rhein in Flammen® Koblenz is a three-day summer festival presented by Visit. Koblenz, bringing music, entertainment, food and drinks to the Rhine and Moselle riverbanks around the Deutsches Eck. Scheduled for 13–15 August 2027, the event turns the waterfront into a lively festival area, with a varied programme designed for dancing as well as relaxing.
Its main attraction is the Saturday evening finale: a large high-altitude fireworks display above Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Rhein in Flammen is a recurring annual event and a highlight of the UNESCO-listed Upper Middle Rhine Valley, where fireworks illuminate the night sky between Spay and Koblenz on the second weekend of August. In 2025, Koblenz introduced a modern drone show ahead of the fireworks, featuring imagery inspired by the city and region.
