About RIF-IT Services
RIF, a brand under Google Workspace, is undergoing changes with the sunset of consumer Google+ on April 2. For Google+ consumer users, starting April 2, 2019, the accounts and pages will be shut down, and content from consumer Google+ accounts, including photos and videos, will be deleted. It is important for users to take action and save their desired content before April 2nd.
G Suite users, on the other hand, can rest assured as their accounts will remain active since Google+ will continue to be available for the enterprise. For developers, all legacy Google+ APIs will be shut down, and it is recommended to migrate to alternative APIs such as Google Sign-in and Google People API. However, a new implementation of certain Google+ APIs critical to sign-in functionality has been created for developers who are unable to migrate by March 7th.
The sunset of consumer Google+ marks the end of an era, and RIF thanks all of its users for their contributions while assuring them of more enterprise-specific Google+ details in the future
