Rifugio Jill Phipps

Rifugio Jill Phipps is an ethical antispeciesist association and multispecies sanctuary in Albugnano, Asti, founded in 2016. Its mission is to promote freedom and dignity for all living beings by protecting nonhuman animals from exploitation, mistreatment, and suffering. The refuge provides a safe habitat where animals can live freely and are treated as individuals, with respect and care. It reports more than 200 animal residents and over 500 animals saved.

The organisation invites the public to support its work in several ways. Visitors can make one-time or recurring donations to help provide care and a secure environment for the sanctuary’s residents. They can also adopt an animal at a distance, contributing to that individual’s wellbeing and becoming part of the refuge’s multispecies community. Its online shop offers ethical products, with purchases supporting the refuge and its inhabitants. Through these activities, Rifugio Jill Phipps works toward a fairer world for all living beings and relies on community support to continue its mission.
