Right Lead

Right Lead Equestrian Center serves riders in the Shreveport-Bossier area of Louisiana with horse riding lessons, training, coaching, and boarding. Its program welcomes beginners through advanced riders and covers eventing, jumping, dressage, and sidesaddle. Lessons and training are designed for both recreational riding and competition, with an emphasis on building strong foundational skills and supporting experienced show riders.

The center also schools horses under saddle for mannerly pleasure riding, athletic development, competitive preparation, and fitness and conditioning. Personalized one-on-one coaching is available, while custom clinics can be arranged for small or large groups across hunt seat disciplines. Trainer Michelle Barr brings more than 30 years of riding, teaching, and showing experience. She also provides professional judging and clinic services, and is a rated judge available for events within a reasonable distance of Shreveport.

Right Lead’s approach emphasizes horse care through knowledge, compassion, and sportsmanship. The program aims to support students’ physical, mental, and social development through equestrian learning and meaningful interaction with horses.
