Rigiberg

Rigiberg is a horse farm and boarding facility in Buus, in Switzerland’s Oberbaselbiet region, run by Andi Kalt and Claudia Bernet. Set amid open countryside, the farm offers a home for up to around 40 horses, ponies, and donkeys, with group turnout and open-air housing. Facilities include an open round pen and a riding arena, while modern computer-controlled feeding allows roughage to be provided individually for each animal.

Alongside horse boarding, Rigiberg runs the Rigiberg Fördergruppe, a development and training program that grew out of its riding school. The program welcomes horse enthusiasts, particularly young people and young adults, to spend time with the farm’s animals several times a week. Its aim is to provide varied, horse-conscious education and help riders learn to independently condition, train, and care for horses.

Rigiberg invites prospective clients and interested visitors to get in touch with questions or requests. The farm can be reached by road via Buus or Hellikon and provides email and telephone contact details for inquiries.
