Raufoss Svømmeklubb

Raufoss IL Swimming is the swimming club of Raufoss Idrettslag, serving swimmers and families in the Raufoss area. Its guiding values are enjoyment, safety and belonging, with activities for people learning to swim as well as those who swim for fitness or competition. The club’s swimming school offers courses for both children and adults and follows the programme of Norges Svømmeskole, the Norwegian Swimming School.

Course information and registration are provided through tryggivann. no, with recommendations shared after courses finish. The club also organises swimming training and takes part in events and competitions, including local meets such as Gjøvik Open and Fjordsvøm in Sandefjord.

Its website provides updates about courses, club activities, meetings and competition participation, along with contact details for enquiries. Training and courses have taken place at Totenbadet, and the club has also used other local facilities. As part of Raufoss Idrettslag, the swimming club combines instruction and recreation with opportunities for swimmers to develop their skills and compete, while emphasising a welcoming and secure environment
