About RI Land Trust Council
The Rhode Island Land Trust Council is dedicated to advocating for land conservation and supporting land trusts across the state. With a focus on capacity building and programming, the Council strives to highlight conservation successes and protect natural spaces. Led by Executive Director Kate Sayles, who brings a wealth of experience in agriculture, forestry, and conservation, the team is committed to the preservation of Rhode Island's landscapes.
Program Coordinator Virginia Streeter, with a background in community development and planning, is passionate about the balance between urban and rural spaces. Development Associate Victoria Antonucci, a skilled archivist, is dedicated to connecting Rhode Islanders to their local history and environment. Together, the dedicated team at the Rhode Island Land Trust Council works tirelessly to ensure the protection and appreciation of the state's natural resources
