Rim of the World Educational Foundation is a nonpolitical, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1983 to support educational excellence in the Rim of the World Unified School District. Its mission is to raise funds for high-quality programs that enhance student achievement and help students become successful, productive members of society. The Foundation supports students across district campuses through per-student school partnership awards and targeted funding for educational programs, technology, field trips, special equipment, and professional development.

Its programs include Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), supported since 2009 to encourage college-going, and Career Technical Education/Regional Occupational Program (CTE/ROP), which helps prepare students for employment, further education, and training. The Foundation also provides grants to schools and supports opportunities for students from kindergarten through grade 12. Funding comes from fundraising events, grant writing, and endowment income, with donations and sponsorships helping sustain its work. Community members can contribute through annual sponsorships, membership, donations, and events. Guided by a volunteer board, the Foundation connects local generosity with practical support for students and schools.
