Rincon Swim

Rincon Swim School provides personalized swimming instruction for children and families in the Carpinteria area, including Montecito. With more than 20 years of experience teaching and competing in pools and open water, the school focuses on building water safety, confidence, and enjoyment through patient, individualized learning. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and pace, and instructors receive hands-on training in teaching techniques. Programs are offered year-round, emphasizing practice, progress, and fun while recognizing that swimming skills take time to develop and no swimmer is completely “drown proof.”

Families can choose private lessons at Cate School, private residence lessons delivered at home, and seasonal Water Babies classes for parents and young children. The parent-and-child program uses songs, play, and exploration to introduce babies to the water and begin their water-safety journey. Rincon Ripperz helps children grow physically, emotionally, and mentally in an organized swim-group setting. The school also offers specialized preparation for Carpinteria Junior Guards, along with a scholarship program and community resources.
