Ringwood Judo Club is a community-focused judo club based in Ringwood, Hampshire. Established in 1975, it has spent more than 50 years helping children, teenagers and adults learn and enjoy judo in a friendly, welcoming environment. The club offers sessions for different ages and experience levels, from young beginners to experienced players, with classes held on Mondays and Wednesdays in Ringwood and a Friday session for teens and seniors at its satellite club, Bournemouth Judo Club.
Led by experienced, qualified coaches, training is structured, safe and designed to help members progress at their own pace. Sessions build judo fundamentals and support goals such as improving fitness, gaining confidence, learning self-defence, earning grades and preparing for competition. The club also encourages discipline, respect and good sportsmanship, both on and off the mat. Whether someone is trying judo for the first time or refining techniques for higher-level competition, Ringwood Judo Club welcomes participants of all abilities and provides guidance to help them develop and enjoy the sport.
