Rio Diving

Rio Diving Center is a diving and marine-excursion provider based in Rio Marina on the island of Elba, Italy. It offers diving experiences around Elba and Pianosa, with options tailored to individuals, families, groups, and different levels of experience. Activities include single or double dives close to shore or farther offshore, night dives, full-day outings with lunch on board, snorkeling excursions, diving weekends, and week-long packages, including off-season “Blue Week” arrangements with local accommodation providers. The center also provides diving courses and equipment rental, and can help visitors plan ferry travel to and from Elba.

Safety is a central part of its approach: experienced instructors oversee activities, staff are trained in first aid, and dives are conducted within permitted safety limits. The center checks certification for divers joining non-training dives. For children from age eight, Rio Diving offers introductory water activities and gradual, play-based mini-diving lessons. It also organizes marine biology and sea-conservation learning activities for primary school classes.
