Rio Pardo Vivo

ONG Rio Pardo Vivo is an environmental organization dedicated to the Rio Pardo and its surrounding communities in Brazil. Through public information, community activities, and environmental initiatives, the organization promotes awareness of the river’s history, characteristics, and watershed. Its work includes the Projeto Nascentes, which focuses on recovering springs, and reforestation efforts such as planting native trees in the region. The organization also highlights repopulation initiatives and shares information about issues affecting the river, including small hydropower plants and environmental policy.

ONG Rio Pardo Vivo organizes events and workshops, contributes to discussions about water and conservation, and supports educational activities. Its communications include news, articles, maps of the basin, and stories about local environmental projects. The organization has also presented the documentary “Rio Pardo – Minha História,” developed after expeditions along the river. By bringing together information, events, and practical restoration activities, ONG Rio Pardo Vivo seeks to encourage public engagement in caring for the Rio Pardo and its natural environment.
