Rip Current Brewing, based in San Diego, was founded in 2012 by two passionate home brewers, Paul Sangster and Guy Shobe. The brand is dedicated to offering the highest quality, award-winning beers from around the world. With a team of dedicated owners and staff, Rip Current Brewing has produced over 200 different beers, showcasing a wide range of styles to cater to diverse tastes.

In 2015, Rip Current Brewing was honored with the GABF Very Small Brewing Company and Brewer of the Year award.
