About Rise2030
RISE2030 is a community-led initiative that focuses on women and youth empowerment, aiming to improve living conditions in deprived areas through education, employment, and empowerment. Managed by Sustain The World Org and Sustainable Empowerment for Youth International, RISE2030 empowers stakeholders in the water-energy-waste and food nexus, integrating the circular economy approach to achieve social, economic, and environmental goals. The initiative provides green energy technologies to rural areas, mobilizing youth and women as catalysts for change through green entrepreneurship and job creation programs.
RISE2030 builds on the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, working on 13 out of the 17 SDGs, promoting and achieving justice, equality, sustainability, and peace. The project offers various activities, including solar youth training and employment, supporting women associations, sustainable community building, vocational training, and more. RISE2030 is built on the pillars of empowerment, equality, and sustainability, challenging gender stereotypes in the male-dominated construction sector with the first all-women solar team
