Rising Moon Ranch

Rising Moon Ranch is a family-run ranch in Franktown, Colorado, founded after the family moved to a more rural setting in 2017. Their shared love of animals led them from keeping chickens to raising alpacas, and the ranch has since grown into a lively home for 18 alpacas, a llama, angora goats, chickens, cats, a dog, and a turkey. The family’s experience with alpacas inspired an appreciation for their personalities, their straightforward care, and the many uses of their fiber. Ranch life and time spent with the animals are central to the family’s story and the identity of Rising Moon Ranch.

The website features information about the ranch and its family, a ranch store, and a for-sale section. It also provides information about CAMELIDynamics, alongside links to regional and industry organizations, including Colorado Proud, Alpaca Owners Association, Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies, and the Colorado Agritourism Association. Rising Moon Ranch brings together animal care, rural living, and an interest in alpacas and their fiber.
