Rising Sun Farm Inc is a small, family-owned and operated breeder based in Stacy, Minnesota. Since 1996, the farm has bred Border Collies and Australian Shepherds, and it also offers Bengal cats. Its breeding program focuses on animals with sound structure, intelligence, good temperament, working drive, and health. The farm says its dogs have become competition winners, capable working partners, and family companions, and it has received the AKC Herding Breeder of the Year award twice.
Rising Sun Farm provides information on its breeding dogs, planned litters, and animals for sale, including Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and Bengal kittens. Its approach includes proactive health care, DNA testing, and veterinary care; puppies and dogs are wormed and vaccinated and come with health guarantees. The family lives and works on the premises, supporting hands-on care of its animals. Puppies are typically available in spring and summer, though availability and planned breedings vary. Prospective buyers can contact the farm for details about its animals, breeding programs, and purchasing process.
