RiverHD is an Italian brand specializing in polarized sunglasses designed for sports and, in particular, fishing. Its products address the challenging light conditions anglers often face, with lenses developed to provide clarity and contrast while remaining comfortable for extended wear. The brand’s story began in 2014, when two fishing enthusiasts set out to find a different kind of polarized lens.
They wanted an option that would help users see clearly without causing the eye discomfort or tiredness some anglers associated with wearing polarized glasses for several hours. After nearly a year of research, study, and testing, the founders developed their lens solution. Christian, one of the founders, helped turn the lenses into a line of sunglasses, which was tested by several fishing champions.
Following enthusiastic feedback, RiverHD launched its first polarized sunglasses collection in the second half of 2015. The product range has since grown to meet the needs of more customers, while the brand states that its lens quality has remained consistent
