Riverside Thai Cooking is a small-group culinary experience in Khao Lak, Thailand, led personally by Chef Apple. Drawing on skills learned from her mother and experience running a local restaurant, Apple teaches visitors to prepare authentic Thai food in a welcoming, hands-on class. Beginners are welcome, and guests can choose the dishes they want to cook, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs accommodated where possible.

Each half-day class begins with a visit to a local market to explore and select fresh ingredients. Participants then learn traditional preparation and cooking techniques before sharing the meal they have made. Groups are capped at eight, and the experience includes hotel transfers to and from the market, a market tour, cooking tuition, spring rolls as an appetiser, a recipe card, and lunch or dinner. Classes cost 1,700 THB per person. Afterward, guests can receive the recipe for their chosen dish, along with additional Thai recipes and cooking tips. Riverside Thai Cooking emphasizes personal instruction, locally sourced ingredients, and low-waste practices.
