About Russian Jewish Congress
The Russian Jewish Congress (RJC) is the largest nationwide Jewish public organization and charitable foundation in Russia. As a member of the World Jewish Congress (WJC), the RJC's mission is to develop and strengthen Jewish life in Russia, as well as to support and protect the Jewish population when necessary. The RJC implements numerous charitable programs aimed at achieving this goal.
Since its establishment in 1996, the RJC has been a unifying organization, bringing together various Jewish organizations in Russia under its umbrella. It maintains connections with Jewish communities and organizations worldwide and represents Russia in the international Jewish community as a member of the WJC. The RJC also focuses on the development of Jewish institutions, and it implements social, cultural, and educational charitable programs.
