RJM Design Group

Established in 1987, RJM Design Group is a multidisciplinary landscape architecture, planning, and design firm serving cities, public agencies, and organizations throughout California. Based in San Juan Capistrano, the firm focuses on creating community-inspired spaces that improve quality of life, enhance the environment, and bring people together. Its work spans parks and recreation, sports and aquatic facilities, animal facilities, cemeteries and memorials, community and institutional centers, master-planned communities, open spaces and trails, streetscapes, and urban design.

RJM’s services cover projects from early planning through construction. The team provides master planning, schematic and detailed design, sustainable design solutions, cost analysis, and photo-realistic 3D renderings. Planning support includes community engagement, program assessments, operations and maintenance analysis, funding strategies, grant application assistance, and design guidelines. For implementation, the firm prepares construction documents and specifications, supports bidding, observes construction, and offers plan checks and on-call services. RJM’s multidisciplinary team includes licensed landscape architects and project managers, technical and administrative staff, certified arborists, and FAA Part 107-licensed pilots.
