RKH Qitarat is a leading brand in the transportation industry, operating and maintaining the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram systems in Qatar. As a joint venture between RATP Dev, Keolis, and Hamad Group, RKH Qitarat brings together global expertise and local knowledge to provide state-of-the-art transport solutions. With the aim of serving Qatar's rail transport needs, RKH Qitarat works closely with Qatar Rail, the state-owned railway company.

Established in 2011, Qatar Rail is responsible for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the entire rail network and systems. The Doha Metro, consisting of three lines, offers fast and efficient travel with speeds of up to 100 km/h. With 37 stations and 110 trains operating on 76 km of track, each line can carry over 8,000 customers per hour in each direction.

The system is also one of the world's fastest driverless networks, ensuring a safe and seamless journey. In addition to the Doha Metro, RKH Qitarat manages the Lusail Tram, which currently has the Orange line in operation. With 7 stations both above and below ground, the tram system helps alleviate traffic congestion, with one tram replacing around 40 cars on the road.

Once all four planned lines are open, there will be a total of 28 km of track.
