Ryhmäkoti Lumikki is a privately owned Finnish care provider offering enhanced residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities. Operating since 1994, the company aims to provide a home-like place to live, alongside the support and guidance residents need. Its group home is in a quiet residential area near the centre of Rauma, with local services, nature and the sea nearby.

Lumikki’s approach recognises each resident as an individual. Staff respect residents’ right to live in a way that suits them, support meaningful personal choices, and encourage them to build on their strengths in a safe environment. The home accommodates up to ten permanent residents in single rooms. Shared facilities include a comfortable living room and kitchen, as well as activity spaces in separate areas of the property. In the main building’s lower level, residents meet for activities with Satakieli, the home’s band. A separate building, called Taikapeili, provides space for pursuits such as crafts and relaxing.
