About RKUF
Svenska Röda Korsets Ungdomsförbund (RKUF) is a self-governing organization that is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, operating in 192 countries worldwide. They strive for a society built on love and respect, where all young people can feel safe and well. RKUF works to prevent and alleviate human suffering among children and youth in Sweden through various activities and advocacy efforts.
They offer a range of services including Jourhavande Kompis, an anonymous support chat for young people up to 25 years old; Kompisgruppen, a platform for finding new friends and engaging in fun activities; and Läxhjälp, both online and in-person, providing free homework assistance. Additionally, RKUF runs the Frukostklubben initiative, serving breakfast to children and youth in schools and community spaces.
