Roots & Resilience Therapies CIC

Roots and Resilience Therapies is a community-minded psychological support practice based at Manchester Royal Exchange in St Ann’s Square. It provides a safe, accessible and supportive space for people seeking help after difficult life experiences, with a focus on healing, growth and empowerment. The practice welcomes individuals from all walks of life and is especially passionate about supporting underserved and marginalised communities, including people facing barriers related to faith, culture, race or finances.

Its services include culturally sensitive one-to-one therapy and tailored group workshops designed to foster resilience and personal development. Therapeutic approaches offered include Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), schema-informed therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Roots and Resilience Therapies also undertakes community outreach and charity work, including its Common Ground initiative, and provides referrals.
