Roadvan

Roadvan is a French peer-to-peer rental platform connecting travellers with owners of campervans, converted vans and motorhomes across France. Created by the team behind Roadstr, the brand draws on ten years of experience and 100,000 rentals. Its marketplace offers vehicles for different travel styles, from compact vans and vintage combis to spacious motorhomes and 4x4 campers, with listings showing sleeping capacity, location, equipment and nightly price. Most vehicles can be driven with a standard Category B licence.

Travellers can search by departure city, dates and features, then submit a rental request without charge; payment is due only if the owner accepts. For Roadvan-insured listings, insurance and 24-hour breakdown assistance are included in the displayed total, with coverage details and mileage terms provided before booking. Owners can list their vehicles free, set availability and pricing, and earn income between trips. Roadvan also shares practical rental guidance and suggested French road-trip itineraries, helping customers plan routes and choose a vehicle suited to their journey.
