Roaming Ranch

Roaming Ranch is a farm and recreation space in Freshwater Creek, Victoria, around 10 minutes from Geelong. It offers visitors a chance to learn in a different way through outdoor experiences and interaction with animals. The ranch promotes Animal Assisted Activities, with a focus on ensuring that animals enjoy the interaction and their natural environment.

Its Animal Assisted Learning programs use time on the farm to help participants build confidence, improve communication and teamwork, develop leadership skills, and engage with peers. Activities include spending time outdoors with the animals, as well as horses and cowboy skills. Roaming Ranch also has a Recreation Barn and is listed as an NDIA Registered Provider.

Visitors can book a farm experience, learn about the ranch, or get involved by becoming a member and sponsoring one of the animals. The farm welcomes people from Geelong and the Surf Coast and provides a setting for learning, recreation, and connection with animals.
