About Rob
Rob Cabrera is an Emmy-winning creative artist and educator based in South Florida, renowned for his diverse expertise in animation, visual effects, and concept art. His career began in public education and evolved significantly after he created the comic strip SILO ROBERTS, which gained national syndication in 2003 and featured celebrity guest stars. This success led to collaborations with Topps, Inc.
Rob earned his MFA in Animation and Visual Effects from the Academy of Art University, where he directed the award-winning animated short featuring Bailee Madison. In 2013, he founded Creative Squirrels, LLC, a boutique studio providing innovative creative solutions across multiple genres. The studio has partnered with various well-known brands and networks, earning Rob his first Emmy in 2016 for his work with NBA Basketball.
He also shares his knowledge as the Concept Art Lead Instructor at his alma mater and is currently developing new projects under Squirrel Cafe Games, further expanding his creative horizons
