The Anderson Foundation is a family foundation established in 1987 to honor Bob Anderson of Brawley, California, and, since 2021, his son Dave Anderson of Portland, Oregon. Both were dedicated to their communities and shared a connection to scouting and sports. Bob served as a Scoutmaster, received the Silver Beaver award, and helped young people develop their potential. Dave was known for his love of family, friends, and athletics.

Continuing their vision, the foundation awards annual scholarships to college-bound students. In Brawley, scholarships recognize high school seniors for community service. In Portland, they support students who excel in high school and/or club athletics. The foundation publishes application information and a history of scholarship recipients on its website; applications are scheduled to reopen in 2027. Its sponsors include All Portland Gas & Electric, Desert Drift Apparel, and the KANO Foundation. The organization also welcomes prospective donors and states that contributions are tax deductible under 501(c)(3) rules.
