Founded by Robert (Bob) Foley in 1998, the brand has become synonymous with exceptional wines and a commitment to quality. Bob's winemaking journey began in 1977 after graduating from UC Davis with degrees in Viticulture and Enology.

Throughout his career, Bob has worked with esteemed wineries such as Heitz Cellars, Markham Vineyards, and Pride Mountain Vineyards. He has also created highly acclaimed wines under the labels of Switchback Ridge, Hourglass, Paloma, School House, Shelter, Padis Vineyards, Herson Family Vineyards, and JennaMarise Wines. At Robert Foley Vineyards, the focus is primarily on producing outstanding big red wines, including Petite Sirah, Merlot, Charbono, and various Cabernet Sauvignons from Howell Mountain, Mount Veeder, and Napa Valley.

Bob's portfolio also features a Chablis-style Chardonnay, a Syrah named Kelly's Cuvée, and a Port-style dessert wine called Conclusão. The winery, located on Howell Mountain, houses over 1,500 barrels in an impressive cave system dedicated to the production of Robert Foley wines. With a dedicated team of three, the wines are handcrafted to perfection.

In the tasting room, Bob's family members, including his daughter Kelly and his father Jerry, ensure a warm welcome for visitors. Beyond winemaking, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly, his children, and granddaughters. He is also a talented musician and can be found performing with The Robert Foley Band.
